Company Overview: Green Cabbage is a leader in spend analytics and advisory services, helping clients optimize their workforce spend and manage supplier relationships through data-driven insights. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in our Cranberry Twp office location.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a background in monthly balance sheet reconciliations, customer set-up and collections, sales tax filings, and to assist with monthly closing of the books. This role will assist the COA with ensuring compliance, accuracy, and providing key financial insights to support our growth and strategic initiatives. Familiarity with a SaaS-based business model and a CPA certification are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly closing in QuickBooks for multiply entities.
• Assist with sales tax filings and payroll tax withholding set-up for new entity.
• Update and perform balance reconciliations.
• Assist with and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Complete monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance on new initiatives, assist in implementing financial best practices, especially within a SaaS business model, to support sustainable growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience, with a focus on new company code set-up/data conversion and daily accounting system updates.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience in or strong understanding of a SaaS business model.
• Proficiency in financial software, strong background with Excel, and understanding of tax management tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
