Position Overview:
- As a Contingent Workforce Specialist at Green Cabbage, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' contingent workforce management objectives.
- You will utilize our proprietary platform and advanced analytics tools to conduct in-depth spend analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance workforce efficiency.
- Collaborate with hiring teams to understand their current project process, and educating them on rates based on worker pay vs. vendor margins
- Create strategies to identify and negotiate high margins in order to create savings for our clients.
- Help drive decisions in regard to providing spend analysis data, evaluating each candidates skill level, experience and hourly rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spend Analysis: Utilize Green Cabbage's platform and analytics tools to conduct comprehensive spend analysis, including but not limited to contingent labor expenditures, supplier markups, pay rates, and contract terms.
- Strategic Insights: Interpret data insights to identify trends, outliers, and areas for optimization within clients' contingent workforce management strategies. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance cost efficiencies and operational effectiveness.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients' procurement departments to understand their business objectives, challenges, and priorities related to contingent workforce management. Serve as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance and support throughout the engagement process.
- Performance Tracking: Develop and implement performance tracking metrics to monitor the effectiveness of contingent workforce management initiatives. Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate vendor performance and compliance with contractual agreements. Identify opportunities to optimize vendor relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and mitigate risks associated with contingent workforce engagements.
- Training and Education: Provide training and educational resources to clients' procurement teams on best practices for contingent workforce management, including utilization of Green Cabbage's platform and tools.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of spend analysis findings, recommendations, and client interactions. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate insights, trends, and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- At least 2 years of proven success in technical staffing across multiple industries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong process- and data-driven approach to understanding bill rates, margins related to staffing vendors.
- Experience with VMS and a strong understanding of workforce pay rates
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or contingent workforce management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiation.
